I'm not complaining by any means, but 75 in November?! Wow!
Life for the Steele family is starting to slow down. Football season is over, Soccer will be done this week, so we will be down to just dance class and Ron's bi-weekly City Council meetings.
The kids have started attending Awana's at the local Baptist church on Wednesday evenings, which is a nice quiet time for Ron and I.
I am on the countdown to put up my Christmas trees! I have generally waited for Thanksgiving evening to put them up but I just can't wait that long anymore. So in the next 2 weeks, I'm sure I will start dragging everything out and adorning my house with Santa Claus, elves, and trees!
Stayed tuned!

I LOVE FALL!!!
I'm so excited about this weather- minus the rain. I love sweatshirts, jeans, flannel pajama bottoms, homecoming parade, football season, chili, falling leaves, and the cool breezes coming in my window. I'm giddy!!!!

The Lou
The Steele Fam vacationed in St. Louis this year. We took in a Cardinals again via The Arch, Six Flags, The Magic House, City Museum, and my favorite, Imo's Pizza.
The kids really enjoyed the Magic House. We could have spent a lot more time there! Ron and Jaxon did a newscast, Olivia played waitress/cook/hostess/cashier for a LONG time in the Pasta House.
Football Season is Here!!
It is that time of year again! Jaxon is starting his 2nd year of "tackle" football and has been practicing 4 nights a week since the first of August. Despite the many 9:00p.m. dinners and tired, whiney kids in the morning- it is still my favorite time of year!
Ron is an assistant coach this year. He is coaching Special Teams and helping with defense. Most evenings, Olivia and I pack up our lawnchairs and head out to the Youth Sports Complex for the evening. She gets to play with all of her friends and I get to visit with my friends. Everybody is happy!

New to Blogging!
I decided today was the day to start blogging. No particular reason- just seemed like the thing to do. Please be patient as it took me a long time to figure out how to use Myspace. I'm not the most computer savy girl out there! I am hoping to use this space as a way to keep my loved ones informed of what is going on with the Steele Family.
We are busy as ever keeping up with the activities of the kids. Jaxon is now 9 and nearly as tall as me! Olivia is 6 going on 16. Quite a handful she is! Austin will be 17 this summer- I can't believe he will graduate in just 2 years!
Ron is currently working full time at Altec, part time with the Andrew County Ambulance, Fire Department, and was recently elected to serve as a City Councilman! He also is on the Board of the Youth Football Program. Whew! he is a busy guy. Somehow he still has time to take the kids fishing and spend time with his family.
I am still at the Juvenile Office- 13 years in September! I started my own home business in August 2006 as a Tastefully Simple Consultant www.tastefullysimple.com/web/hsteele My business gets me out of the house and gives me the chance to meet new people while making a little bit of extra money. People love having me in their house to feed their guest- I say "a way to a person's heart is through their stomach!"
